If you are interested in a dog portrait of your furry friend, I would be honored and excited to bring your dog to life on the canvas!
Here's what you get:
- A gallery quality acrylic painting of your dog
- Choice of sizes, recommend “8 X 10” or 10” X 10” but, let’s discuss!
- I protect the painting with two coats of polycrylic sealant (water based).
Here's what I would need from you:
- At least 3 - 4 photos of the dog’s face with as much natural light as possible. These can be sent via email or by phone. See notes*
Using the photos, we will discuss which one we think best suits the likeness of your dog, We can discuss background ideas as well.
Prices start at $200 for the 8” X 10” and a deposit of $100 is required before painting begins. Price does not include shipping.
Please allow 2-3 weeks for completion of painting. I will keep you informed of delivery status.
* About the photos: I like to see at least a few pics of the dog because it gives a better idea of all the different shades of the fur and expressions. I prefer photos that have a clear view of the face. It's all about the faces anyway, isn't it? I try to pick a shot that captures the dog's natural look. However, you know your dog best, so if there is a particular picture you like best, let me know. I work directly from a photograph. The better the photo, the better the painting!
